Students from Columbia's Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation completed the study, which found that ferry service would be the most cost-effective way to get to Tarrytown and Manhattan from Nyack, lohud.com said.
The main problems with restarting service were the cost and availability of parking, the students discovered, reported lohud.com.
Nyack Mayor Jen Laird-White called the study 'amazing, helpful, very interesting,' lohud.com noted.
